The Refreshments: Wheelie (1994)

Wheelie was a self-published cd from The Refreshments that they distributed during their performances in Arizona. The band went on to gain notoriety for the 'King Of The Hill' theme song and  produced two more studio albums with Mercury records which are still available. They broke up in 1998, but it looks like their bassist/songwriter still tours with new material, http://www.artedwards.com. 

The music on this cd is infectious, sing-along fun rock starting off with the lyrics from the first track, "Everybody knows the world is full of stupid people. I've got the pistol, so I'll keep the pesos. 'n that seems fair to me". Another tracks' title, B.O.B.A. is an acronym for 'Buffett On Bad Acid' which should give you an idea of the quirkiness and free spirit that can be expected from The Refreshments. They feel like a break for those times when life seems over complicated and too serious.
