Pineapple Thief: 8 Days (03) and 8 Days Later (05)
8 Days (03) and 8 Days Later (05) were limited edition releases that were issued with the first 1000 cd's of Pineapple Thief's "Variations of a Dream" and "10 Stories Down" sold. They won't be released again.
Rather than do the usual bonus disc of live material and out-takes, Pineapple Thief chose to challenge themselves with writing, producing and recording a song per day over a period of 8 days, with each song reflecting the mood and sounds of that day. The discs have new and unique material which I found even more fascinating than their commercial releases (which are quite good too).
In particular, for "8 Days Later", additional musical friends were brought in and Soord also received suggestions from members of his Private Paradise newsgroup.
Pineapple Thief opened for Marillion in 2005 and has recently signed with the same label that Porcupine Tree and Marillion use. Hopefully that will help their discs become more available in the U.S. in the future.

Your right, it's not available for sale and never was. It's a limited edition distributed with the first orders of Variations and 10 Stories. When I have seen it come up for sale it was $$$$$$.
This is the only version I have - the same as you now.
