Plan 9 from Outer Space

Plan 9 from Outer Space is a science fiction/horror movie written, produced and directed by Edward Wood in 1959. It's also been called the worst movie ever made because of the bad script, acting and cheap special effects (like seeing string the space ships are hanging from). However, it's so bad it's hilarious. Plus the movie has the classic Vampira in it, who defined the role of vampiress. 

"The plot of the film is focused on a race of extraterrestrial beings who are seeking to stop humans from creating a doomsday weapon that would destroy the universe. In the course of doing so, the aliens implement "Plan 9", a scheme to resurrect Earth's dead as zombies to get the planet's attention, causing chaos." -- from Wikipedia

This is the original soundtrack and it's great music for atmosphere. There also seems to be a remake of Plan 9 from Outer Space in the works, scheduled for release on ... can you guess? 09/09/09.
