More HMHB

John Peel didn't call Half Man Half Biscuit his favorite band for no reason. Their inspiration has been developed from welfare lines and sing-a-long impromptu drinking sessions but with guitars and hooks added. Nigel's one liner descriptions are hard to forget. A favorite of mine is "4AD -3D- CD".

"The nimble-witted Nigel Blackwell thankfully has the ability to write amusing lyrics with intelligence, thus avoiding the cringe-factor, and manages to fall short of the 'smart-arse' tag." from an Amazon review
