Meaningless Mister Mustard

The Meat Beetles are another worthy net find that shouldn't be dismissed because they freely post their music. You know, the "nothing on the net is good" crap. Hah! From their website:

"Our primary purpose in what we do is to hold a mirror up to this poor, sick, twisted society so that all of us--including The Meat Beetles--can see who/what we really are."

Ok ... and what about Meaningless Mister Mustard?

And it's clever, fun and good. Their attitude reminded me of Butthole Surfers with Deviants, in a Negativland style mix. It's not what your local Clear Channel station or Warner Bros would want, yet it's well done and professional. Perfect. I'm still exploring the site, but so far they have my two thumbs up. Check them out.

For the record, I've never been 100% Obama. But the non-stop bashing at first seemed comical, but now it's beyond old and sounds more like a midi ring tone played over and over on hold. Meat Beetles did a good job of turning the media around.
