The Arizona Dreams soundtrack accurately reflects the nature of this film. It's quirky, surreal, and ethereal with southwestern-American Indian soundscapes followed by beating tracks such as "Gypsy Reggae" which is infused with a Caribbean-eastern European folk. It's about dreams, making the impossible possible and a halibut. Tying the Bregovic compositions together are 4 tracks featuring Iggy Pop on vocals with catchy pop/punk songs like "Get the Money". 

I don't think I've attended a family gathering without hearing the song, "This is a Film". Somehow the oddly humorous, mysterious rationality blends with reality to make brilliant sense in that context. It's experiences like that which makes this album one I couldn't live without. What more could anyone want? The variety and originality remains fresh with unexpected metaphors, producing new insights every time I listen. 

Unfortunately the original movie was never released on DVD for region 1 and the VHS version for the US eliminates 40 minutes from the region 2 movie version. So the movie, Arizona Dreams has to be downloaded in order to see it. TG 4 TPB.
