Le Peuple De L'herbe are another one of those bands that defy categorizing. They are usually considered Hip-Hop, Electronica, Dub, Rap, Trip-Hop, Dance or something similar. My roommate just asked me "is that Pink Floyd?" which he likes and doesn't like that other "type" of music. I suspect Le Peuple De L'herbe might be dismissed by others without hearing them based on what section they're in and they deserve to be more well-known.

The group is surprisingly musically competent in many elements; traditonal and acid jazz, reggae, psychedelic and heavy rock . Their vocals and lyrics that are challenging without resorting to cliches or dramatics. However, most of the information I found on them had to be translated from french.

"The name of the group, “the People of Grass”, comes from the title of documentary film left in 1996, “Microcosmos: the people of grass”, and obviously, a hardly buckled allusion are made with the cannabis. Concerning the Reggaematic title on the maximum one of the same name, “a piece which announces the color (green like the de-penalisation)”.
